Sažetak
Summary
The aim of this study is to analyze the organizational culture and communication of clinical hospital centers in Croatia by reviewing their official websites and social media presence. The focus is on the presentation of values, mission, and vision, the availability of ethical codes, management transparency, and digital communication with patients and employees. An analysis of five clinical hospital centers (Zagreb, Sestre Milosrdnice, Rijeka, Split, Osijek) revealed significant differences. Some clinical hospital centers have clearly defined ethical codes and financial reports, while strategic documents and quality certificates are often less visible. Internal communication
varies – some clinical hospital centers use intranet systems, while others provide only basic information via websites. External communication is well-developed, but digital interaction with patients is inconsistent. University Hospital Centre Zagreb does not have active social media profiles, whereas clinical hospital centers Split, Rijeka, and Osijek are present on Facebook and Instagram. Sestre milosrdnice University Hospital Center is active on LinkedIn but does not use platforms that allow more direct communication. In conclusion, despite positive practices in some clinical hospital centers, there are areas for improvement, particularly in standardizing online appointment scheduling, increasing social media engagement, and implementing digital tools for internal communication.
